The European Headquarters of CSL, based at Campbell Park on the outskirts of Shepshed near Loughborough, was formed in 1985 to provide sales and support services for countries within the EU and specialises in the manufacture, assembly and development of high quality electronic instrumentation and environmental monitoring systems. Our range of products includes optical sensors such as those used to measure visibility, cloud base, weather and general climate conditions. A Sales Manager is required to drive our next period of growth and to help develop other business across Europe.
Based at our UK office you will manage a team of approximately 20 staff and take full ownership of the sales operation across the UK and Europe to help deliver our objective of increased profitable sales. You will work closely with our Research and Development teams to help solve our customers’ measurement problems, highlighting areas where investment is required and the potential financial returns. With significant previous experience in managing teams of internal/external sales and key account personnel you will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in delivering profitable growth.
You must be comfortable working in a wide ranging customer base, spanning Educational Institutions, Industrial and Government bodies and ideally have some technical experience or transferable skills relevant to measuring systems incorporating both hardware and software solutions. The role will involve regular travel across the UK and Europe to attend events, visit customers and support branch offices. Occasional travel further afield will also be required.
Sales Manager - Aviation
A Sales Manager for our aviation products is required to promote and deliver sales of our meteorological systems into the aviation sector. You will be responsible for the marketing, sales, specification of systems and the coordination of installations at the customer’s site.
You must have some experience of working in the aviation sector in a technical role in a senior position and have the ability to communicate at all levels. You will report directly to the Managing Director and you may be required to supervise and coordinate the work of other technical and installation staff. You will be based in Shepshed and be expected to travel mainly within the UK, with occasional overseas trips and exhibitions to attend.
