Conect SRS PRI & NDVI on CR1000 Datalogger

quiqueapolo Apr 8, 2017 11:10 PM

I have 8 SRS sensors with a CR1000 datalogger. I know that I can read sensor using SDI12 protocol with Logger Net. I found this program http://www.decagondevices.eu/assets/Uploads/SRS-EXAMPLE-PROGRAM-10X.CSI.txt, however I can not understand how can I can connect several sensor on the same port within SDI12Recorder(SDI12(). Could someone help me?

With SDI-12 sensors, they have an address that can be changed. They all have a default address of 0.

To connect multiple sensors to an SDI-12 port, you need to change the address on the sensors. You cannot put two sensors of the same address on the same datalogger channel.

I suggest following the instructions in the CS451 manual for changing a sensor address with the datalogger terminal. The process is the same for any SDI-12 sensor.
