WeatherHawk Weather Station Accessories
Here are a few of the most commonly requested WeatherHawk accessories. As there is some overlap between our own accessories and WeatherHawk's and issues relating to the use of certain wireless frequencies and antennas we would advise that anybody interested in a WeatherHawk system speak to one of our application engineers for help in configuring a suitable package for your application/situation.
Mounting Options:
TP1 Tripod/Mast Assembly - The TP1 Tripod assembly is used for both roof and surface mounting of the WeatherHawk weather station.
TP1-TK Tripod Installation Kit - Choose this if you need a level and a compass to properly install a WeatherHawk TP1 Tripod/Mast Assembly.
TP1-MX Mast Extension - Choose this if you want to extend the mast length (height) by 31 inches (80.6 cm.). Two or more mast sections can also be used as a pole mount, without a tripod.
TP1-GK Guy-wire Kit - Choose a guy-wire kit if you want to stabilize your TP1 tripod in high winds. Required for tripods having two mast extensions.
TP1-SK Stake Kit - Choose a stake kit if you are installing a TP1 Tripod directly on soil.
TP1-GR Grounding Kit - Choose an earth grounding kit if your tripod is installed on soil or at ground level. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
TP1-EP Tripod Extended Footpads - Extended Footpads for the TP-1 Tripod. Enable the use of sandbags to stabilize a WeatherHawk at temporary installations, or for quick response applications.
House Mount Mast Kit - A Low profile house mount mast kit with extension and retrofit base unit. USE WITH WIRELESS WEATHER STATIONS.
Power Options:
AC Converter - Choose this if you want to use AC power, instead of solar energy to recharge your weather station battery pack
SP2-KT 5 W Solar Panel Kit - Choose this if you want to recharge your station using a solar panel instead of an AC converter.
BP2-EX External Battery Kit - External battery pack for any WeatherHawk. Use in cold regions with low winter sun angles.

Software Options:
WeatherHawk-XP/X for PC or Mac - Weather station management, data display, data export and internet interface software for either PC-XP or Apple Macintosh computers running OS X v10.2.8 or later.
Sensor Upgrades:
High Resolution Rain Gauge High resolution rain gauge option. Available in metric (0.1mm/tip) and Imperial (0.01"/tip) resolution. Specify resolution at time of order.
Communication and Cable Options:
25' (7.6m) Weatherproof Serial Cable - Weatherproof Serial Cable (RS-232) in 25 foot (7.6 metre) length, with nickle plated brass DB-9 shells.
50 ' (15.3m) Weatherproof Serial Cable - Weatherproof Serial Cable (RS-232) in 50 foot (15.3 metre) length, with nickle plated brass DB-9 shells. Use with WeatherHawk 232.
WeatherHawk-IP Server Module - Serves real-time data from any WeatherHawk weather station to an Ethernet.
MD485 Multidrop Modem Kit - RS232-to-RS485 multi-drop modem kit for systems that have a multi-Host to weather station communication requirement.
