The CS475, CS476 and CS477 are pulse-radar water-level sensors. Positioned directly over the water surface they determine water level by measuring the elapsed time between the emission of short microwave pulses and the return. Typical applications include water level measurements of rivers, lakes and reservoirs.
Ideal for applications where submersed sensors are not appropriate because of the risk of damage due to corrosion, contamination or flood-related debris. Maintenance costs and time are kept to a minimum with these sensors which have no moving parts.
Compatible with our CR200-series, CR510, CR10X, CR800-series, CR1000, CR3000 and CR5000 dataloggers.
CS475 measures up to 20m to an accuracy of ±5mm
CS476 measures up to 30m to an accuracy of ±3mm
CS477 measures up to 70m to an accuracy of ±15mm
