The CC5MPX and CC5MPXWD are high resolution digital network cameras with still and video capabilities. They were designed to meet the stringent operational requirements necessary for remote battery powered installations while producing images of up to 5 megapixels.

The cameras will operate reliably at temperatures of between -40° and +60° C  and power consumption is low. An integrated rugged environmental enclosure reduces cost and installation time. The cameras support SD and SDHC memory cards for file storage and features a choice of still image resolutions and video capture options.

The CC5MPXWD version includes a window defroster that prevents and removes light frost and icing from the camera's window.

Image capture can be triggered by event (under datalogger control), time (using integrated timing control or under datalogger control) or using the on-board motion detection system.
