CR1000 Datalogger

The CR1000 is our most popular data logger and with good reason. It is extremely reliable with an MTBF (mean time between failure) of 975 years* and has a three year guarantee as standard. Packed with measurement and control features this logger is flexible enough for virtually any type of data acquisition application. Extremely power efficient and running from a 12vdc source it is ideal for field based autonomous monitoring systems such as meteorology, geotechnical, structural or hydrological applications.

On-Board Data Processing 
This compact, programmable data logger will scan at up to 100 Hz (1500 Hz in burst mode). Inside, the CR1000 features a 16-bit Microcontroller with 32-bit internal CPU architecture. There are eight differential (16 single-ended) analogue inputs, two pulse counters and eight digital I/O ports, complemented by CS I/O and RS-232 ports, a 40-pin peripheral port and an Ethernet option.

Choice of Data Logging Communications
The CR1000 Datalogger is compatible with a full range of communications options including direct (RS-232), GSM, GPRS, RF radio, satellite and so on. The CR1000 also supports the PakBus operating system, which improves data collection in networks.  Add to this the ability to connect multiple SDMs in any combination, and you can see why the CR1000 is practically the industry standard in a wide range of monitoring and data acquisition applications.
