Charge regulators, or charge controllers, must be used to connect sealed rechargeable batteries with a charging source (such as an ac transformer or solar panel). Regulators control the current flowing to the battery and prevent the battery current from flowing to the charging source. In addition to the stand-alone regulators listed here, regulators are incorporated in some of our products.
