CR1000X vs. CR1000 period average measurement

BFLyles Oct 29, 2019 01:54 AM

I recently upgraded a station from a CR1000 to a CR1000X.  I am using period average to measure a Geonor T-200b precipitation gauge.  I got stable readings for years with the CR1000, but I can't figure out how to get stable readings with the CR1000X.

Code stip from the CR1000: PeriodAvg (Geonor_Hz,1,mV2_5,16,0,1,1000,1000,1.0,0)

Code snip from the CR1000X: PeriodAvg (Geonor_Hz,1,2,16,0,1,1000,1000,1.0,0)

I am guessing it has to do with the gain setting in the CR1000X.

Has anybody put an osciloscope on the Geonor to see what the signal looks like?

Has anybody connected a Geonor gauge to a CR1000X?

By any change did you figure this out? I'm experiencing the same issue adapting an old code to the CR1000X
