CR6 working with exponents

bjonkers Nov 7, 2019 03:34 AM

hello all.  new to campbell scientific loggers.

I am using a cr6 and am having trouble with the proggramming and not sure it is correct.

I have some piezo's and i am trying to add some calibration factors but the information provided has the factors as an exponent.  eg -1.388770E-2

i am trying to add it in the following way

Cal0(1)= -1.388770E-2

Cal1(1)= -1.266598e-4

ect, ect.

Can i add it this way or do i need to use another function to get it to work?

As long as the variable is a floating point type when you define it usinng the "Public" instruction, then this format workks fine.
