extreme low values with HMP155

Paul Heinrich Nov 25, 2020 06:39 PM

I have a station with HMP155 that occasionally produces extremely low values ( below -50 C, once or twice per day when recording hourly averages).  Sometimes just one low observation and sometimes several that grow progressively lower and then return to normal over time.  In the past, when I've had this happen, replacing the HMP155 sensor fixed the issue.  I tried that on this station and the replacement (a new unsed spare) also produces the same error.  The station uses a CR1000x and solar power.  The solar system is running well and the battery stays at ~ 13v.  Has anyone else seen behavior like this?

cheers,  Paul
