Please i would like to find out the maximum number of registers the ModbusMaster instruction can read for a CR6 datalogger. Thanks
The Modbus protocol does have a limit on the number of registers transferred per request. The CR6 will automatically divide up into multiple requests if you exceed the limit.
You are mostly limited by how long it takes to get the register values out of the other device.
