window 10 pro update and LoggerNet connection

to-ya farm Jun 9, 2021 03:09 AM

hi. ^^

I installed LoggerNet to 2 computers( 1. desktop, 2. notebook)

In korea. evening and night may 30, there is many thunders.

 desktop is gone. T.T  ^^:

for backup, i installed LoggerNet to notebook( dell, window 10 pro) on december 30/12/2020

that time, my notebook connected to CR1000X via USB. I could use LoggerNet.

But, 04/06/2021 I could not connect to CR1000X

for 6 months, there was not much change. mostly window update and kaspersky and brave browser and avast secureline vpn and korean word program.

sometimes used internet for normal things.

maybe window 10 pro-update can cause this?

Did you verify Loggernet uses the right COM port? It may have changed without you noticing.

Open Loggernet Setup Screen and click the ComPort device for your logger. You may need to change the ComPort Connection or reinstall the USB driver.

hi. pokeeffe

In Setup Screen, ComPort Connection was COM3 so I click and see CR1000X(COM5).

Is it ok to choose CR1000X(COM5) ?

and I click button of install USB Driver then " no USB driver found" came out.

how can i find USB Driver?

Sounds like you don't need the usb driver, but if you do, DevConfig comes bundled with them.
