CRVW3 write operation error

Norwester Aug 9, 2021 04:10 PM

I'm having an issue with a CRVW3 datalogger that I have installed in the field. it is setup in a RF407 group of about 10 other stations (mix of CR6, CR310 and CRVW3) with one of the CR6 loggers having a cellular modem connected. When I connect to the CRVW3 in question, connectivity is no issue. However when I attempt to download data from it onto our loggernet server I get the following error:

Failed to collect data for "Station name". One or more file write operations failed during the collection

I've attempted to download the data directly from the logger using a RF407 and laptop (not the server) and also via usb directly connected to the logger.

When directly connected to the logger it seems to download data 50% of the time. but the rest of the time I get the above error. Wireless communications  fail in this way 100% of the time.

Any idea what could cause this?

A file write fail often means your computer does not have access to, or permission to write to the folder where the data file is to be saved to. Try doing a custom data collection and saving to somewhere like the desktop.
