Can a CR1000X provide 3.3 volt power?

I wish to interface a 14 segment I2C display with a CR1000X.  In addition to the two I2C lines, it requires 3.3 volts.  Is it possible to supply a constant 3.3 volts a port on the CR1000X and, if so, how?  Thanks in advance!

From online manual:

3.3V on C port limit at 10 mA

3.3V on Vx terminal limit at 50 mA, but during measurement only!

I suggest you to use a robust stepdown DC / DC switching converter from 12 dc power
