The ALK7 is a new basic alkaline battery pack for powering a CR300 datalogger or other applications with low power needs. This battery pack uses eight D-cell batteries to provide a nominal rating of 7 Ah; batteries are purchased separately. The availability of alkaline batteries makes them attractive for applications where the batteries can be replaced quickly and easily. Alkaline batteries are not rechargeable, and their amp-hour ratings decrease with temperature extremes.
